Why Life Coaches Are So Important Today & Where To Find Them

There are two concepts in life, one is positive and the other is negative. But there are many other people who would only think of the negative things in life and that could really get them to a dead-end street. If they think that there is no one else who can listen to them, they should try to talk to a life coach. Maybe this is your first time to hear about a “life coach” or something like that. However, in some parts of the U.S. and also in Canada, particularly in the area of Vancouver, there are now lots of life coach Vancouver who are good at listening more and speaking less. They can give recommendations, advices, words of wisdoms and even inspirations and motivations to people who wants some help for whatever purpose they may want to do in life. These life coaches can be easily located through an online directory listing and if one needs someone to talk to, they can consult this listing and find a life coach near or within their area.

The purpose of life coaches is not to tell you what to do but they will just give you some insights on life. These guys are trained to open up their ears more and less of their mouth. The do understand that man are born with two ears and with one mouth and you should do the same. They can listen to a lot of problems from different people. You might want to talk to a life coach and you don’t have to inevitably open yourself up wholely, just a little background info that will help them how to aid you, whether it’s about love, finances, relationships, setting your goals and everything else that can forever affect your life. Not only in Vancouver you can find these life coaches. In Toronto, there is also an existence of life coach Toronto experts and they are more than willing to help you with any problems you have in life.

If you’re living somewhere in California, you can also get help from a life coach Los Angeles expert and all you need to do is find a directory listing and find one near or within your place.

Techniques To Cure A Stutter

Are you looking for techniques that can help you to eradicate your stutter? Has speech and language therapy or pathology been unable to help you to the levels that you require? Is second best no longer acceptable? The above three questions are ones that I would regularly answer in the positive during the eighteen years when I had a stutter. I was constantly looking for that miracle “stuttering cure”.

Now I am fully aware to call it a stuttering cure is not exactly what some people would call the “correct English” but I basically was looking for a way or a set of techniques that could enable me to “stop stuttering”. At there time there were not that many stuttering therapies out there, or at least not ones that were worthy of the name.

I always find it strange when I read about the so called National Associations for Stuttering or Stammering. For some reason they seem to always advise people to attend local speech and language therapy. I think we deserve better than this! What is the point of asking people to attend speech therapy, something that has been unable to help them in the past? Speech therapy does not work for people who stutter, well not to the levels that they desire – again to stop stuttering completely and let’s face it anything else is to accept second best.

I searched high and low in my quest to find the solutions to stuttering. I read many a book, asked many a question and studied many of the “best talkers”.

I put in a massive amount of effort, hard work and dedication as that is what is required. There is no magical potion or tablet that can cure a stutter, what it takes to eradicate this form of speech impediment is a positive attitude and a willingness to practice the techniques night and day until they become a natural part of your speech.

There is now a seventy-minute film which has been produced by a DVD replication company in association with The How To Stop Stuttering Centre which has full explanations of the techniques required to achieve fluency.

How Can I Utilize the Law of Attraction to Make Positive Changes In My Life?

The Law of Attraction is a Universal Law

Nanette Geiger, Law of Attraction Relationship Expert, writes… A Universal Law is one that operates dependably under all situations. A Universal Law doesn’t treat people who utilize the Principle more preferentially. It doesn’t take more kindly to the smart and beautiful. In fact, the Law of Attraction is working on you (and the entire universe) 24/7 whether you are aware of it, or not!

Why not harness the power that creates worlds to create the world of your dreams? Law of Attraction Life Coaching does just that.

By now, perhaps you’ve seen or at least heard about the movie “The Secret. Or not. Some say the movie focused primarily on getting stuff, cars, jewelry, homes, etc. Can a Universal Law be that seemingly superficial?

All you have to do is say you want something, spend some time thinking and imagining it and then POOF, it becomes part of your life experience. Just like the genie in Alladin’s lamp who says: “Your wish is my command”.

The Law of Attraction States that What You Place Your Attention on Becomes Part of Your Experience

In very basic terms, the Law of Attraction states in the words of one of the teachers in The Secret, ‘what you think about and thank about, you bring about’. Whatever you give our attention to, whether wanted or unwanted, draws in what is similar to the thoughts you’ve been thinking. You emit vibrations through the constancy of thought. This attracts more people, situations and things that are like those thoughts. You can attract wealth and attract love, too.

“So how does it apply to me? I think thoughts all day long about wanting to make more money or move to a better neighborhood. I’ve been thinking about a better career for years, and it just isn’t happening.”

Your attention and energy has been focused on the lack of what you’ve been wanting, the lack of your ideal partner. Your thoughts and your deeply held beliefs are what is transmitting the energy to the Universe that says “I’m tired of looking and not getting, where it is, where’s my money, where is he”? Now you may get another job or a new lover, but you took you and your miserable vibration with you – you created another miserable job or relationship. Haven’t you ever noticed same boss, different head? Same guy, different name. The only common denominator is YOU!

This Is An Energy-based Universe

What we put our attention on shifts based on our expectations of potential outcomes. Your thoughts are the energetic impulses that communicate, not your words. Thoughts do create. Anything that has ever been created first evolved from the thought behind it.

Your Thoughts Are Creating Your Life

You are creating with your thoughts all day long. You may be re-creating more of the same, by thinking the same old thoughts – so life doesn’t appear to change much. You keep thinking thoughts along the same theme, therefore – same stuff, different day. You have a programmed default setting in there somewhere that needs to be revised and refreshed. We all have them. We’ve learned most of this from our well-meaning parents and our culture. They didn’t know any better. Now we do!

Change Your Thinking – Change Your Life

It doesn’t happen overnight. It took a while to have these programs installed, but sure enough we can override them. It is very simple process – just not always easy.

That’s where getting some expert Life Coaching comes in. You can start seeing shifts in your life as quickly as you can being changing your thoughts. I’m a skilled Law of Attraction Life Coach and would love to show you how you can transform areas of your life very quickly. For more information visit me at http://www.nanettegeiger.com

Goal Setting For Success

If you want to change your life, if you want to achieve success in the forms of wealth and happiness, you simply must plan for it, otherwise it is very unlikely to happen! You simply are very unlikely to achieve your goals if you have not written down a plan to get you there.

All successful people set goals in their personal and business lives.  All successful businesses put business plans in place, and measure their performance against them.

Yet very few of us actually plan our own lives, we just expect better things to come along.  The vast majority of people spend the whole of their lives “expecting”, but their expectations never materialise.  Don’t spend your life being one of those people drifting along.

Start changing your life right now …

  • What are your dreams?
  • What do you want to achieve in life?
  • What would you like to be doing right now if you had the money to do anything?

Here is your first step to success …

WRITE DOWN YOUR DREAMS & GOALS!

That’s it!  The first step to changing your life is as easy as simply writing down on paper your dreams and your goals.

When you write your goals down your subconsciously affirming them in your mind, in other words you’re tuning your brain to achieve them.  You’re making your dreams real!

This first step is crucial to how much you’ll achieve in life

Don’t limit what you can achieve by setting easily achievable goals … THINK BIG!

If you think big and set life changing goals that you focus on achieving every day, there’s a strong chance you’ll realise your dreams. If you only achieve half of the goals you set, you will still have achieved far more than you would have with small goals, and in doing so will have changed your life considerably.

But if you only set small goals, you’ll align your actions with those targets and therefore have no chance of achieving greater things.

I changed my life a few months ago when I invested a lot of money in a new Internet Marketing club. Since making that decision, I have published well over a hundred blog sites and the results have been amazing in just a short period of time, I would never have achieved them had I still been thinking small targets!

I’ve taken the best of what I’ve learnt in that club and turned it into my own course that I’m now giving away for free.  If you want to conquer the search engines and change your life, I suggest you go and get your copy of my Make A Dollar A Day right now whilst its free!

Setting Personal Goals : Accomplish Your Goals

Being part of the entire personal development operation, setting personal goals is beyond question key in furnishing a clear vision of what you would like to accomplish.  Establishing at least one or more personal goals appears to be a straightforward process. You set a particular goal, a goal which is measurable and has a particular timeframe to be accomplished. You go through with your schedule, appraise your progress towards achieving your goal then measure the outcome impartially to fine-tune your personal goal setting.

Seemingly, it flows well yet sounding easy enough to execute. Unfortunately, setting personal goals rarely works out that way for a whole host of reasons; chieflt because we frequently fail to set realistic personal goals. In addition, we oftentimes arbitrarily establish personal goals with only a hazy approach as to how our goals will actually be accomplished. Yet while we are generally motivated at the start of the process of personal goal setting, it’s not very much at all unlikely to misplace our enthusiasm somewhere a long the way.

While determining your goals, it’s crucial to first recognise that every goal you set should be practical and easily doable, afforded a suitable amount of time and resources.  For instance, Determining personal goals to earn $30,000 per month within the next four months, while your current income are much less than $2,000, is practicaly surreal. However, setting an ongoing manageable goal to grow your income by 1% to 13% per month is not merely practical, but also more likely to be achievable.

Once you have settled on a personal goal you believe you can accomplish, the next step is to split it down into smaller, manageable tasks and scheduling them in order (presuming each goal depends on the conclusion of each other). Ahead of defining an finish date the complete goal must be achieved, be sure that all little goal is applied a reasonable measure of time for completion and let the total of the chores determine the finial date, as an alternative to randomly picking one.

Based upon how far into the future your goals are imaged it may be really valuable to set routine progression reviews, even when you are the sole person participating. For example, setting out a spot every Friday evening to size up your advancement and apply any called for modifications will maintain your goals up to date. Do not be upset if something unexpected hampers with your progress from time to time. This is to be expected and you will simply have to find a way to compensate for it.

One more artificial barrier to genuinely meeting your goals is the chore of setting personal goals itself. Be sure to avoid practicing a goal development procedure that uses up more time than the real goal itself. On a smaller scale, an basic spreadsheet will oftentimes be adequate to hold the complete personal goal setting wants. For larger scale goal setting planning, a horde of personal goal setting software exists, typically scalable for most individuals.

Aside from actually working the procedure to ultimately realizing your personal goal, the final step is to allow some time to appraise the entire process and your performance at the end. This must be completed objectively and followed as a learning opportunity, a process that can help you to boost your efficiency the next time round.

With precise management, setting personal goals that are practical can truly benefit you and your enterprise in the long run, especially If you streamline your goal administration procedure for yourself. Once you look on personal goal setting a ongoing operation centred on continuous performance advancement, eventually you will see a substantial improvement in all that you aim to do!

The Key to Achieving Your Goals.

It always amazes me when people say that they have set goals but fail to write them down. It is often asked why is there a need to write out goals when the individual knows what they want. Have you heard the term, motorised memory, that is where you remember more things by writing them down than any other way, we vizualize things rather than imagining the words themselves,so by writing out your goals as fully as possible it is an important factor in goal achievement. Life is meant to be fun, so have fun writing out your goals and what life is like now that you have reached them. Again, the reason for this will be obvious as you read on.

So many people blieve that goal setting only involves your professional goals when to get your life in perfect balance you need to devote as much time to setting social goals such as those for your family, your well-being and relaxation. True life balance means that you do not leave one rat race for another, at least working nine to five or whatever meant you shut the office door, working for yourself at home can encroach on quality family time do not allow that to happen. Your family will support you but getting a work to life balance is essential for more than just keeping your relationship together.

Finally the most important part of goal setting, which is why I said that writing your goals out was very important is vizualization. Remember I said that in order to set good goals you need to know where you are going to end up before thinking about how to get there, this is where vizualization plays its part, because you have not got the thing you want you have to vizualize what it will be like when you do have it, how will your life change. You cannot write anything out on paper unless you have a clear image in your mind before doing so, so do you see how that very act of preparing to write out your goals brings a sharper truer image to your mind than if you did not write them out. If you do this correctly you are more than half way to achieving your goals. Look at your car with all its techincal gadgetry everything began as a thought they did not just happen as if Santa Claus visited where they are made.

If you do not believe that you can use vizualization just try these little exercises. It is a good job that we think in pictures, for example if I say the word car, what do you see in your minds eye, the word or an image of a car, I believe the image rather than the word. I guarantee that the last time you looked at a holiday brochure before booking your holiday you imagined in pictures events that would occur because of your holiday being there and those pictures probably never appeared in any brochure. When you read a book your imagination paints pictures of the scene that is being described. We use vizualization every day of our lives.

I confess I love showing people how to use vizualization in their lives and have spent the last 25 years doing so.

How to Achieve a Balanced Life

Living a well balanced life is the target of the majority of people it is the key to achieving personal and professional goal setting and success in your career. However, what is meant by a harmonious life, whilst it is true that goal setting is usually the domain of your career especially those in business to live a balanced life means setting goals in every part of your life personal as well as business. In fact those who set goals in each area of their lives have greater life satisfaction than those who only set career goals thereby decreasing their odds of having a happy life.

So we need to examine how to write goals and set out a goal setting process so that they can achieve harmonious living by achieving their goals.

You may have come across the term S.M.A.R.T. Goals standing for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time related goals. This is a common format for those who are very familiar with goal setting it can prove to be complicated for people who do not know how to set goals. If your goal is attainable it must be realistic so surely all you need is a Specific; Measurable and Attainable goals.

Are you aware that you set goals every day of your life, for everyone makes decisions as they {move through the day# are faced with different daily tasks}, a decision can only be made by a goal setting process. You think of something you want, work out if you think you can do it, and take action to attain it, that is a goal setting process. {Obviously there are a few factors in the process that require expanding.# Of course you could elaborate some points.}

To get a harmonious life you need to set out goals for every part of your life – I call this the TOWER OF LIFE. So let us look at the floors in the tower that will benefit from personal goal setting.

I want you to draw a Building that is like a tower with six floors and has three windows on each floor; you see you knew goal setting was hard!
.
On the first floor (the ground floor if you are not in the USA) in the left hand window write the words Physical and Health. On the next floor up write Mental and Educational. The next floor up write Family and Home; on the next Spiritual and Ethical; then Social and Cultural finally on the top floor Financial and Career.

Give yourself an honest mark as to where you are now in the window next to each category. To do this you need to ask yourself some questions, for example working downwards in the window next to where you wrote Financial and Career ask yourself questions such as; “Do you enjoy your work? Do you feel you make an effective contribution? Have you reached your full potential? Have you achieved a good standard of living?

You need to grade yourself between 1 and 10 1 being the lowest and 10 the highest now you rate yourself against these questions.

Apply the same process for the other floors in your tower of life:-

Social and Cultural “Do your circle of friends enhance your life, do they contribute to your life or take from your life; Do you have interests outside of your career – Sport; Theatre; Family?”

Spiritual and Ethical Are you aware of your Core Beliefs – these make you what you are; What is your relationship with religion, or do you accept the idea of an architect of the universe and life itself. Remember your religion can be based around an invisible deity or a god within yourself?”

Family and Home: “Is your family life the way you want it, have you achieved your dreams?”

Mental and Educational: “Have you accomplished your educational goals; ; Do you invest in your education on an ongoing basis?”

Physical and Health: “Are you satisfied with your current state of health; Are you the correct weight for your size and build; Are you fit enough to do the things you want to do?”

Now that you have asked yourself this type of question and others you may add, and marked yourself from on the scale of 1 to 10 make a note of all the areas where improvement can be made I suggest where your score is less than 5, if you have none below 5 then pick the lowest score and check that you have been totally honest with yourself.

Now you need to look at those areas where you could improve your score and set yourself goals to raise the score towards ten where you can. As you do this and achieve your goals no matter how small you will begin to enjoy life satisfaction and bring your life in balance. Repeat this goal setting process on a regular basis for as you get to ten on your scale you will think of improvements you can make even when you reach ten and the process starts again.

Easy Tips To Stop Procrastination

Those who consider procrastination to be simply a matter of laziness do not fully understand the psychology of the problem and instead claim that a kick is the only reliable way to stop procrastination. On the other hand, even those people who understand that procrastination may be a manifestation of a deeper rooted problem may still consider that the perpetrator is procrastinating about seeking help.

Some people who have a tendency to procrastinate may in fact be suffering from depression or even attention deficit disorder which can both be underlying causes of procrastination. While procrastination is considered a behavioral disorder, by treating other diagnosed issues it may be possible to offer an effective remedy for procrastination at the same time. It is often recommended that those people who are chronic procrastinators see a therapist or a mental health professional to determine if there are other treatable issues causing them to consistently put thing off.

Therapy can a useful process for people to change behavioral patterns such as phobias and, for example, a fear of flying. These types of upsets in a person’s psychological balance cannot always be treated with medication, but a therapist can offer them a better understanding of why they display the particular behavior. Through this type of treatment a person can usually begin to stop procrastination~change the procrastination habit~stop procrastinating if it is required.

Continued Procrastination Can Lead To Addictions

When a person continues to put off doing certain tasks, they usually focus their attention on other, sometimes solitary projects. It is possible that someone who fails to set about stopping their procrastination will end up addicted to, say, the computer, if that is what they turn to to take their focus away from something else that should be done. Taking refuge behind a computer screen offers self-justification for putting something off, but an addiction to the internet or computer gaming may be a sign that procrastination help is needed.

Attention deficit disorder, while frequently associated with children, has recently become a more common diagnosis for adults who cannot remained focussed on one thing for long periods. When this leads to procrastination seeking treatment for attention deficit disorder can also lead to stopping the procrastination.

In the majority of cases procrastination is displayed as an avoidance behavior where the individual will perform other tasks unrelated to the project they are ignoring. By learning and adjusting to new behaviors, as well as understanding what draws their focus away from their planned project, a cure for procrastination can be found.

Part of the process of stopping procrastination is learning to set smart goals. Setting achievable goals~How to set achievable goals and taking steps towards those goals can create breakthroughs in many areas of our lives.
